I'm on pill but I'm having problems with so I'm going to doctors about it. I had Implant after had my oldest and I didn't have no side effects. It last for 3 years is well.
I’ve been on the progesterone only pill. I’ve been on & off it for years and it’s always worked brilliantly for me. No side effects and it’s always helped to balance out my hormones. I’m a lot more emotional/up & down when I’m not on it. I’ve had the implant before and it was the worst year of my life. Genuinely was suicidal and a psychopath. I did also have a year on nothing & tracked my ovulation. We just didn’t have sex when I was ovulating or used condoms. The one day we had unprotected sex when I was ovulating was when I got pregnant. So it definitely worked 🤣. It’s something I’m aiming to go back to within the next year. Since having our son we have been very mindful of our health. We’ve cut out processed foods & only shop organic now and rarely use medicine. So don’t really want to add the contraception to my body. I’ve been seeing a dietician to get tips on food & supplements to help balance my hormones out and make me feel my best, and then will come off the pill x
I'm same as the girl above I'm on nothing I just track my periods and my ovulating dates and just avoid having sex around the time of ovulation been working pretty well. Any time that risky I'd after a few drinks easier to give it
I am going on the mini pill (I get migraine so can't have combined one) because I would like next one within next 2yrs. I had the implant pre-baby and the only side effect I remember having was headaches for about a week or so when it first went in/renewed while I adjust to the new hormone levels. I definitely liked not having to worry about pregnancy for the ~3yrs each implant is effective for. I tried the injection once, and never again. For me it killed my libido completely and was like a 3mth PMS. Its definitely one that works for some people but not others.
