There's never a right time. We had a really hard start to feeding and he was a velcro baby. I knew I couldn't deal with a big gap then more of the same so my January baby is 21 months younger than her brother
Honestly there’s no right or wrong time I found letting nature take control and believing it would happen when it happened to be the best way! I am currently pregnant with twins so there’s only going to be just over a year age gap! I was so happy when we found out!
I have a 2 year 4 month age gap between my two, unplanned and I would honestly wait until they are 3 years old+. I had pre labour contractions that were the same as being 6-7cm dilated for 48 hours with my first. They were back to back and resulted in an emergency c-section as they wouldn’t turn. 8 week recovery. My second I had planned a c-section but turned into an unexpected VBAC. The birth couldn’t have been any quicker and there was far less pain than before. It went that quickly when I finally got a doctor to give me the epidural before they administered it I was ready to push. 🤣 I felt 100% myself the next day. So being honest with you no birth will be the same.
I’m in the exact same boat. I want another baby as I want my little girl to have a sibling but she was born prematurely and took me months for a doctor to diagnose her with a cows milk allergy. I also don’t think there’s ever a right time😅
