Problems going back on the pill after birth?
Anyone else had problems going back on the pill since birth?
I’m on the mini pill and already had to stop once as it caused me to just bleed all the time. So dr stopped it for a few months so my body could get back into a normal cycle. I’m back on it again and my periods usually last 5-6 days but now I’m on day 11.
I think this is the only pill I can have but it’s just causing me to continue bleeding. Anyone else had different side effects after birth when going back on it?

@Rachel thank you for your comment it’s reassuring knowing it’s normal for other people too. I was going to give up and come off it all together as it’s annoying but think sticking it out will be best and it will eventually sort itself out x
I’m on the mini pill the same one before pregnancy and I used to never really have a period or if I did it was very light and max 3 days, I’m on that same pill now and my periods have been all over the place and I seem to bleed light for 14 days it’s so annoying I told myself give it a few months to sort but doesn’t seem to be happening xx
@Natalie same for me never got periods before pregnancy but now it just doesn’t seem to stop! It is so annoying. 🤦♀️ I’m hoping it sorts itself out x

Hey I had exactly the same problem with the mini pill and I came off and had a bit of a break. Went back on and it just took a few months to get back to normal and for me not to have breakthrough bleeds. So frustrating but I got there in the end, hopefully the same for you?
