Potty Training

Haven't started yet but feeling like she might be ready soon and have nooo idea where to start

not yet. He will go sit on it so he can flush it and here the flush 😩

@Erika mine does the same! And he fake wipes himself but other than that he doesn’t actually try to pee

I’m really not in a rush, I have adult sons and they seemed to manage it and learn.

@Erika my son will also just sit there and flush it. Then when I put his diaper back on, he immediately pees 🙄

I just started. Three days in. Have only left the house once for a couple of hours since starting. Been keeping her completely bottomless at home and diapers for nap and bedtime. She started pooping and peeing in toilet from the first day we started and today she did pee on herself a few times. We keep an eye on her all day so that if she pees herself we take her to sit on the toilet and let her know that’s where she needs to pee. For poop she just runs off to the toilet to poop doesn’t even let me know but I stay nearby her to make sure she doesn’t touch her poop or stand up while she’s pooping. Shortly after I go in and read her a book while she’s pooping. The book potty training in 3 days is a popular one. As for the toilet type I’m using a toilet seat that is like 2 in 1 one seat for adults and then for the little one you pull down the smaller toilet seat it helps that way I don’t have to transition from the floor potties to the toilet seat later. She has a step stool to rest feet

Been working on it for a few months. Not a fan of naked methods, but also haven't had a 3 day weekend where we weren't traveling to commit to a naked method. Tried a naked method for Veteran's Day weekend and she pooped on the floor... There is nothing wrong with using pull-ups and taking your time.

All children are different I know with our little one when we started we would have pull ups on and start every 15mins for two weeks then 30mins for two weeks then you can go an hour but by then he would know now our little one only sleeps In a night nappy

I read “oh crap! Potty training” and it helped me a lot! We did naked at home for the first 4 days then started doing short outings but kept travel potty in the trunk of the car to go right before leaving and when we got there, etc.
