Experience with copper IUD + larger partner?

So I have been off birth control for awhile, tracked my cycle, then wanted a kid so had a kid. Then chose not to go on birth control after 1st but had a oopsie 2nd one is due in feb… considering birth control bc I am not ready to have a third for a bit. BUT I had horrible experiences with the pill and mirena IUD. IUD personally hormones and it was inserted so it was stuck in my cervix and would hurt during sex. Also my partner would feel the string thing and it would cut him sometimes during sex. Curious about your experience with copper IUD and if you have a partner who is larger, can he feel it? And has you experience with copper IUD been fine for you?

I had a copper iud when I was with my most endowed partner; he ended up shifting the iud out of place & I got pregnant with a copper iud inside me still.

@Parker 又 aaahh! Did you baby’s have it in their hand when they were born! Those failed iud pictures are so funny. Is there a birth control that has worked for you since having kid?

I got pregnant with my first on a copper IUD didn’t realize it was out of place and one thing led to another with a FWB 🙃 I went on the depo shot after my first and didn’t get pregnant again until I was ready to

I’m still weaning off breastfeeding so just cycle tracking atm but going on the patch is my next move once my son is weaned! No female in my immediate family has had good experiences with going on any type of hormone based pill for birth control so I’m skipping even trying with that for sure, but the way the patch works looks super super promising!! And I’ve had friends get onto the patch & they loved it more than anything they tried before
