Gestational diabetes

Did anyone give birth earlier than 40 weeks with gestational diabetes that you were able to keep under control with change of diet ?

I had my little girl at 39+2, it was well controlled with diet, and metformin towards the last 2-3 weeks, they predicted her to be over 10lb which they blamed on the GD but she was only 7lbs 11oz xxx

Mine was managed through diet and he decided to come at 34 weeks lol

Diet and more exercise, induced at 36 weeks for preeclampsia, they projected he would be 8ish pounds and was 6 pounds 4 ounces.

Yup it was weird because I actually had really low blood sugar, but somehow I had gestational diabetes😅 anyways I managed it with diet control and I had my son at 39 weeks and 3 days. They told me he’d be just 6-7 pounds, but he was exactly 8 pounds lmao 💀 I’m 5’1 and weighed 120 pounds at the end of my pregnancy.

Diet controlled GD with my first baby was induced at 38+5 because I was told she was going to be larger because of GD etc. She was born at 8lbs.

I was diet controlled and was induced at 37+5 and had him at 38w

Diet controlled whole way through, induced 39+2!! I lived off meat and cheese, it was the only thing that kept my levels down

My water broke at 39+6 and he was born 40+2. Diet controlled throughout. They did say he was much bigger than he actually was. Was 3.6kg when born
