Low blood pressure snacks/ tips

Hi ladies ☺️ I have had low blood pressure my whole pregnancy, but recently I've been having more dizzy/ woozy/faint spells. I mentioned it to be midwife and she isn't worried about them, she just said because it's already low, when it drops even more I feel it and causes the symptoms! I try to eat every 2-3 hours and stay hydrated, but it's not always possible. When I'm out & about I find myself having to find a can of coke to help me feel better, not sure if that's the best snack😂 But wondering if anyone carries around any snacks specifically for low blood pressure? Or ways to manage it? Thankyou ☺️

I also suffer with low blood pressure and my midwife told me the best things is nuts, hummus or bananas I know the hummus isn’t easy to carry around.

@Hannah oh really? So high protein snacks and not sugar? Do they help you feel better when you start feeling faint? X

Bananas are my favorite. I occasionally had low blood sugar even before pregnancy so I always carry a banana and a tangerine with me. I also find boiled egg and cheese slices helpful. And pack of nuts.
