Getting fuel solo with baby

Ok don’t come for me as it’s probably a very stupid question but I need to go out to the shops & it will be my first time solo with my son. I need fuel as didn’t realise I’m running on fumes 😅 do you take baby in with you to pay? I don’t like pay at pumps as have had my card cloned and large sums of money taken previously and takes forever to get the monies back.

I wouldn't leave baby in car alone no

If it’s quiet i leave my son in the car (just if he’s sleeping as well) but if it’s busy i take him too x

I would pay at pump to save the agg of getting baby out and wouldn't leave them in the car alone. I know you say you've had issues before but I'd rather that gamble than gambling anything else personally 🥰

That's a hard one! I wouldn't want to expose baby to fumes, so if there's no queue, then I'd probably fill up at the closest pump and run in. If there's a long queue it's probably best to take them with you

I’d leave them in the car. I have a 20 month old too so there’s no way I’d be taking them both in. But I do opt for pay at pump if it’s there x

I would leave baby in car but lock it whilst paying if you have to go inside. You likely take longer to go to the toilet and baby if safe and secure so I wouldn’t worry. Better to keep them in car away from fumes too! X
