It doesn’t work if you’ve already ovulated as it prevents ovulation so depends when you are in your cycle!

No, sorry, ovulation is irrelevant otherwise pill would be redundant. The earliest you take pill after unprotected sex, the better it works. 12 hours is a decent enough time for it to work. I've had it a few times in my younger years (yikes!) And never got pregnant. But if you throw up after taking it, it might not work.

@D a quick google search will tell you ovulation IS relevant 😉

@D I'm so confused 😕 xx

If you ovulated on the day you had unprotected sex you can still get pregnant regardless of the morning after pill. As the egg and sperm would have met within a few mins to hrs. The morning after pill actually promotes pregnancy, so if your already pregnant it does no harm so it is not classed as an abortion pill and can get distributed via pharmacy without a dr present. It works by preventing ovulation, essentially skipping half your cycle. But if you ovulated during the time of taking its not a sure fire way to prevent pregnancy. The only way to know now is to wait for your period

Sorry sweetheart, I'm trying to put your mind at ease, its always worked for me. It's best to ask a doctor or pharmacist as apparently we're just gonna get a bit frisky on here and that's not helpful to you.

@D thank you I appreciate it. I'll just have to wait I guess. I was only on my period last week so hoping I still have a chance I won't get pregnant. Xx

If your tracking app is accurate that you posted above you should be ok with where you are in your cycle - you could always take a test in a couple of weeks to be sure as it might throw your period out a little or not ☺️

@Fiona thank you
