KIT DAYS

Yeah, I've received KIT day pay. Are you on full maternity pay or still being paid from work? When I was being paid from work this impacted how much I got for the KIT but when I was just on statutory i would get full pay for the hours i did. Hope that makes sense. I would speak to HR 👍 x

You should absolutely be paid. When did you do the KIT day? The only thing I'm thinking is it may have been after the cut off for this payday? But definitely challenge it

Yes paid, but paid in arrears. I worked 2 KIT days this month but won’t be paid until next month. I had to fill in my timesheet etc to get paid.

Check when your pay is processed. I've done a few KIT days last month but because of when they fell i won't get paid them until this month. Same with this month's ones I'll get paid next month

As others have said, you will more than likely get paid next month due to payroll cut offs. I do 1 week in November & 1 week in December but because of how they fall they will all be paid to me in my December pay ☺️ x

Do you guys get paid for KIT days above the maternity pay? I was under the impression we couldn’t take these till after stat pay ends otherwise it would replace the stat pay so I was planning on doing these from February next year when I no longer get paid xx

@Gemma your KIT days are paid as a full days work on top of SMP.

Yes absolutely entitled to pay for KIT days. I work for the NHS and KIT days are done during unpaid mat leave usually so people can get some extra income in but can do it anytime too. Depends on your local policy but also with pay I'd ask HR when they process this. It may reflect on your next pay possibly.
