Home visits?!
Hi, I got discharged yesterday from chesterfield Royal with my little one and they said a midwife would come round the next day but our community midwives don’t work Saturdays?! And Iv not had any calls. I’m confused if I need to call somebody or if some random midwife is going to turn up today lol anybody know??

Hi, I think it could be a random midwife; I had my 36 weeks appointment at my midwife yesterday and she mentioned 1st day after you're at home with baby " 'a midwife' will come out to you", so we got the impression it could be just any random midwife. Hope all goes well x

We were discharged on a Saturday and a midwife from chesterfield came to me the next day even though I’m Matlock. She called when she was in her way but I think more for direction as we’re quite rural. (This was April this year) Congratulations!
