I'm not nhs but Council and I received the back dated pay based on what I missed if it had been that rate while on mat leave. It got paid at the same time as others. Hope that helps x

I work with NHS GGC didn’t get anything because I was on maternity leave. Gotted tbh 😔

@Chioma if it's backdated you should be entitled to any pay you would have received at a higher rate had they agreed to the rise quicker? You shouldn't be at a loss because they took so long to agree and pay it?

I might have to give payroll a phone and find out as It definitely didn’t look like it’s in with my normal pay. As I thought everyone would be entitled to it

In our council i know someone who had left before it was paid out and she was able to get her backdated too as she was employed in the period it covered

@Keri that’s what I thought, I will definitely call payroll on Monday and hear what they say. It’s unfair if we don’t get anything.

The backdated pay is apparently going to be in November’s payslip. I’m GGC and we get paid the last Thursday of the month. Of Grampian is the same you should get it this Thursday. It’s backdated from April so depending on when you started your maternity leave you should get it xx

I work for NHS Tayside and was told the following:

@Chelsea I checked my November payslip last night that’s how I knew I didn’t get any back payment. My maternity started sep23-sep24.

@Chioma aww I didn’t realise the payslips were up already! That sucks. I missed out on the backdated pay too for 2022/2023 because I was on mat leave. It’s so rubbish, you are still employed so should be entitled to it ☹️. I would argue that’s another example of gender pay gap! X
