switching to formula

We’re in the same boat! We tend to do formula for the first bottle as I can find she is hit and miss with that bottle as she just wants breakfast! We use cow and gate ready made for easiness but as my freezer bags are getting lower and lower we might make the switch to formula in the next few weeks, do what works best for you 🫶🏼
also this might be a stupid question what stage do you use it says stage 2 is 6-12 months but also on the stage one is says to 12 months so what one do you use ?
I use 6-12 months but some people just stick with the first infant milk x it’s up to you xx
You can use follow on or first stage for formula with a baby under 12 months the health visitors and midwives recommended stage 1 simple since most stage 2 are just so they can advertise them. To introduce the formula you could always try mixing it with a little bit of breastmilk at first so it's not so much of a taste shock x
I give my baby a bottle of formula before bed, we use SMA first infant milk but apparently they are all the same nutritionally - I found a really interesting post about it that links you to all the studies for the info

Yes absolutely you can give formula too! We used to use Kendamil, it’s whole milk based and one of the thicker formulas however we now use cow and gate due to the Kendamil shortage and we love cow & gate and have had no problems x
