Conceiving a boy

My husband wants the next baby to be a boy very badly. Is there any advice to increase the odds of conceiving a boy?

Idk if it’s true but supposedly the Y sperm dies off quicker than X so you should try only on the day of your ovulation and not at all the week beforehand so they have a better chance of reaching egg first. I conceived on my day of ovulation and I’m having a boy

I’ve heard people say his body temp can make a difference, you could look into that.

Men determine the sex of the baby so the pressure is on him to give you the Y chromosome if he wants a boy. Don’t let him take it out on you. If he has a family history of a lot of males in his immediate family. There’s a higher chance he will have a boy but nothing can guarantee it unless he wants to pay a ton of money for IVF.

Pray. And yeah i’ve heard what kaylee has said. But if you don’t get pregnant from that one time you had sex your chances go down to get pregnant that round. So having sex multiple times leading up is the best. But that’s up to you

I’m currently pregnant with baby #2 due in December with another boy. His side of the family has more male than female. Maybe the third time will be a charm 😜😬

Exactly what Riley said. We can’t pick unless you go for IVF where you can pick the gender.

@Riley I figured. In the U.K. you can’t pay a surrogate or get paid for donating your eggs so it makes sense for gender selection to be illegal. Super desperate people will travel and find a way I guess lol

They're all myths. Only gender selection via IVF can select a specific gender. To be entirely honest, as someone who had multiple rounds of IVF to be able to even conceive a child, I'd just be so very grateful that you'd been blessed with another regardless of the gender x
