2nd a morning and evening bottle and depending on what food he consumes in the day I've done a 4/5oz top up after lunch. My boy is lactose intolerant after a sickness bug so he's on oat milk but takes it the same.
I read on the nhs website that they should have at least 12 ounces of milk or 2 sources of dairy a day. Ive found if baby has milk before breakfast he doesn’t eat much breakfast so I make weetabix with milk and then a yogurt between lunch and dinner and then he just had 5 ounces for bedtime.
I mean.. they don’t rely on it like they did when they were under a year old. So what I do is I give a 6oz bottle in the morning of cows milk and 5oz in the evening before bed, it seems to work. Just see how much your babe drinks during the day. I’d definitely offer a morning and or evening bottle.
