Teething already??

my little guy is 2 months (3 months in a week) and has been drooling and chewing on his hands like crazy. i know discovering his hands is a new “skill”, however it’s a lot? are these normal or “teething” gums?

My babies gums looked like that when she started to teeth. She started at 2 months now 3 months old with two teeth almost completely through! She got to try whipped cream on thanksgiving since her teeth are almost all the way out 🙂

My son’s gums look like that as well but no teeth yet.

@Devin Lowe omg so teething gums? 😩

@Elizabeth is he beginning teething or showing signs?

My baby boy turned 3m on the first and has been teething since he was 2.5m

Haha im on the same boat right now! My babygirl will be 3 months on the 15th and she is CRAZY about her hands as well as mine lol. I just let her.. my firstborn did NOT start teething this early its crazy 😩😂

Teething gums will be red. I don’t see red on the pic so I think it’s just a discovery of hands! Although early teething is possible, the average range is 6-12 months. Unless you or your partner had teeth early, I don’t think it’s teething based on no redness and age.

@Polina I agree, looks like my son's gums and he's not teething. Pediatrician stuck her finger and said the gums were still soft, looks exactly like my sons when she did that

Mines, too, like a lot ped saying he can pop one soon.

@Polina that’s what i figured

My son sadly started teething at 2 months I say sadly because he didn’t get his first tooth until he was 13 months🥲 it was a long wait and he’s still going through the pain for the 2nd one

@Angel, oh my, that's a long process, poor little baby

@Angel how did you know he was teething? I’m pretty sure my baby is but im a ftm. His doctor won’t even look at his gums
