It could be because you have A- blood type. If you're negative and babies positive they can give you injections called anti-D injections for this. 🙂 May not be this at all but just came to mind looking at your blood type! Xx
Likely the negative blood type!
I just don’t understand why half of my results are on there and not the other half 😅 makes me so nervous
MSU is urine I think. The HIV / syphillis / hepatitis B ones maybe take longer to come back?
It’s likely they want to discuss your blood group and giving anti d. Most trusts the infection screen doesn’t show up as it’s a confidentiality thing on the notes system so if anyone is positive and partner is unaware it protects them Your HbA1c is also a little bit borderline so they may want to screen you for gestational diabetes a bit further into the pregnancy
@Mel the midwives don’t usually do scans (assuming it’s a midwife appt) - you’ll have to wait for your 12 week scan to get a scan on the nhs but you can get private reassurance scans 😁
If you have the nhs app, you can log into it and look at tests that have been carried out. I did mine today and saw what my gp had commented on and what they all meant xx
@Sonia this only works if the tests have gone via the GPs systems at some point. Mine never showed as the gp never requested or reviewed them
Hey lovely, what were the blood tests for? Remind me :) I know it's harder to practice, but tomorrow is around the corner. Sometimes doctors prefer speaking in person of the results show low in iron etc. it could be a very simple fix.
