I went to my “12 weeks” NHS scan today, everything was fine but they didn’t give me scan photos .. is this normal ? I’m so upset as I wanted the physical proof ..

Oh no. I got them for all of my mine. Except for my very first one during Covid, all mine have been free. Maybe check the website or call them.

I had mine today, got mine for free. I’ve never paid for any of my scans

What?!! I got them at every scan and never had to pay for them!! Check with your midwife, they should be saved and could be printed from file 🤞🏼🤞🏼

We had our 12 week scan recently. The scan photos are free but the NHS asked us for a donation on our way out which of course we were happy to do!🤍

We had to pay for our scan photos £5 per photo

Ours are £5 per folder, 2 pictures in a folder and you have to ask for the pictures before they start scanning x

Sonographer said you have to ask when being scanned, but I didn’t know this being my 1st pregnancy, luckily I’m allowed to go back in 2 weeks time ..

No wayyy, mad how different trusts are! We have never ever paid!

Ours were supposed to be 3 for £10 but we got like 6 for free and she told us to hide them and keep it quiet 🤫

I didn’t get any photos either 😕 got to the end of the scan and the doctor told us to take picture with our phones… I was so disappointed

Wow I didn't pay for these. Surely this should be free! Especially if it is your first one. Hope you can get them next time

I got 1 free one on Monday as it’s my 1st, but I’ve got to go back again next week (as was measuring slightly too small for the screening) and was told next time I will have to pay for photos and it’s £5 per photo!

My hospital don’t do print outs now either 🙄 but they found some good shots and let us take pics on our phones. Call them that’s your baby, you have rights!

Im so surprised that some of you needed to pay for the scan photos. This is my second pregnancy and i was given at least 4 photos every time i had a scan with NHS. I didnt even ask for them, they kindly handed me the photos after my scan. I guess it may vary from hospital to hospital.
