It’s different for everybody, they say typically 6 months for it to clear your system! But for me it took 2 years before I finally got pregnant! I discovers that I struggle with conceiving a baby. I’m now 36 months into trying for my second. So I hope and pray that you have better luck than I do!! 💜
It really depends. Each case is a case. How long has it taken you to conceive last time? You can start trying and get pregnant in the 1st month, or it can take more time. I stopped my pill and got pregnant in the 1st circle after I stopped.
You can start trying right after you go off it no problems there but depending on your situation you might consider going off it 3 months early and charting just to give yourself that chance to figure out how long your real cycle is, when you usually actually ovulate etc, if there are any problems then you have time to make changes. Of course you can also do all that while actively trying so it’s basically up to you and how inpatient you are lol. The first time we tried it took us 4 or 5 months and this time around I got pregnant on the first cycle after birth control but unfortunately it ended in miscarriage. Those results have a lot to do with chance and age and timing and general reproductive health though and basically nothing to do with how recently I was taking the pill. The exception might be some other forms of birth control like the depo provera shot, but the regular pill is out of your system in 24 hours (which is why you have to take it every day for it to work)
