Do I need to take a plan b?

Had sex with hubby thinking I was ages away from ovulating but checked my app later and it’s only 4 days away (according to tests from previous cycles). My baby girl is only 14m and I don’t want another one yet 😬

I didn’t even read the post just clicked yes. If you don’t want to get pregnant just take it

Either use protection or use plan b if you're not wanting to get pregnant

Yeah if you don’t want to get pregnant then take a plan b literally

I'd also suggest tracking your ovulation properly, the apps are just a best estimate based on the average woman and might not be reflective of when you ovulate

Yes you absolutely should take it asap. You have a pretty high chance of getting pregnant if you really are ovulating in 4 days. You also need to ensure you take it before you actually do ovulate or it will be too late for the plan B to work so run don’t walk to the drug store.

Yep better use plan b as you can get pregnant 5 days before ovulation 🙌

You’re still within your fertile window, so you may not be able to avoid what’s happening. Doesn’t hurt to try

You’re still in the ovulation Window so it might be too late 🙃 you can try now but no guarantee. Sperm can live for 5 days

My apps prediction is based on me tracking my ovulation with tests so should be accurate 🤞 I guess I will have to get a plan b tomorrow 😩

Tomorrow?! Girl you might as well start preparing for the baby now lol

@Monét nowhere that sells them is open on a Sunday round here 🤯 i live in the sticks 😬

Surely if I know I don’t ovulate for 4 days and take plan b tomorrow it’ll do the job? Nothing will have happened yet 🥚🥚🥚

I just googled it out of interest and you can take certain emergency pills 3-5 days after sex.

I’d take one regardless of whether the app said I was ovulating or not. Sometimes you can ovulate earlier or later than usual, it’s just an estimate.

There’s no guarantee that’s when ovulation would happen, especially if it’s only 4 days away it could be inaccurate by a few days and sperm can survive inside you for up to 5 days! So would definitely take it!

4 days is when I will be ovulating according to my last god knows how many cycles, I use ovulation tests and my body is very regular. Its not just a random prediction in this case 😊 I have ordered one to collect tomorrow so lets hope it does the job 🤪

Btw you can get a prescription from your doctor and get it from the pharmacy

@Monét I could never get them to do it in time 😅🙄 I’ve picked it up now, had to pay double the amount because I’m fat 🙃 a skinny woman’s dose is half price apparently! Let’s hope there isn’t an update in 2 weeks time 🤪
