They have some premixed formula containers you can buy. That way you just can pour it into the bottle and heat up without having to worry about water/powder ratio!! I have the Baby Brezza which is great!! You add your formula and water. Set it to the correct setting and oz, and it pours warm! So I have a bottle ready in seconds with a push of a button.

@Iris kind of defeats the purpose of my question as I’ve already bought formula and I would rather keep it that way without using pre made bottles as the prep machine is quite difficult as a first time mum, and what about the kettle way? I can’t get my head around it

If you've got the formula already have a look at the box/packaging. They all need to be made slightly differently so follow the instructions. The main premise is that boiled hot water needs to be added to the formula to kill the bacteria in formula.

@Charley how much water etc I have no hope at this mum life 😂😂

You put the desired amount of water oz for the bottle. And somewhere on the can it should say how many scoops should equal an oz. Like for mine I have a scooper that counts two oz. So for a 7 oz bottle I would do 7 oz water and 3 and a half scoops of formula powder

For every 2 oz water 1 scoop

@Kiran this is not the case for all formula so please be careful saying this. In the UK it's quite often 1 scoop per Oz of water. But it changes depending on formula

@Charley if I was to make a 4oz bottle will I need 4oz of water? Xx

Prep machine way Add the hot shot so this is your first shot that will be dispensed from the machine, then I add my scoops into the bottle 1 scoop per ounce and then I dispense the rest of the water from the prep machine and stir the bottle. This is my personal preference. No matter what you choose I’m pretty sure it’s 1oz- 1scoop for most formula (uk) hope this helps x

@Letty thank you x

You’re welcome ☺️ xx
