Insulin ?

Currently been taking metformin has anyone been put onto insulin late into pregnancy at 36 weeks. I have my next appointment Wednesday and few higher reading wonders if they would put me on insulin or leave on current medication now I'm Nearly at the end of pregnancy xx

How many metformin are you on a day?

Your on your maximum they may want to add a bit of insulin. Have you had a 36 week growth scan?

No that's tomorrow x

I know it’s easier said than done but try not to worry, see what they say about your scan tomorrow. Have they spoken to you about being induced early or anything?

They said at my last one I would be induced at 39 but if I needed insulin it would be 38. Boxing Day 🙈 as you say I'll try not to stress and see what they say x

You can argue that though if you wanted as it’s only a week. When you say high readings what are they? X

9-9.6 never been this high for me x

It is high, I usually get those if I eat something I shouldn’t or too many carbs. Hope today goes well for you! Towards the end though sugars change due to hormones x
