Return to work

Hi, I only received OMP and not SMP. I am thinking about changing jobs which would be within a different health board but remaining in the NHS. Would I still need to complete my 3 months return to the hospital/healthboard I am currently off on maternity leave from? And if I do take on a new job would I need to pay back the OMP ? Many thanks, any advice would be really appreciated thanks ☺️

As long as it’s within the nhs I think it should be fine, to transfer trusts x

As long as you don’t break the nhs continuous service you’ll be fine. My friends has just moved from one trust to another following mat leave and has not had to pay anything back.

Yeah as above, as long as you remain in nhs… but would still need to give notice in current role. You will have received SMP if you got OMP though… it’s just included
