Help!! Freaking out because I can’t tell if these are positives or evap. lines.

These are two different tests taken on the same day. I have the Paragard copper IUD, and I noticed I haven’t had my period for 1-2 months. So I decided to check. Now I’m freaking the fuck out 😣

Not to freak you out more but that’s how my first tests looked when I was pregnant with my son

That's how my first tests looked when I was pregnant with my daughter. I also have a friend who got pregnant with the copper IUD and had a completely healthy baby and no complications if you're concerned about that. Try testing with the digital ones that actually say "pregnant" or "not pregnant" that's what I did after getting similar results on the regular tests

You need to check only 5 min(or whatever instructions say) after testing. After that it can be inaccurate reading.

But if that's exactly how it looked, kinda looks positive to me.

Not to scare you, but you could have an ectopic pregnancy which can be life threatening. I would go to the doctor ASAP. If you have not had your period for 2 months I'm worried that the test is not darker because your pregnancy should be far enough along to get a darker line, and an IUD puts you at higher risk. It's rare, but definitely worth getting checked out right away to make sure. It happened to me and I ended up needing emergency surgery. Again, not to scare you, but I would make an appointment right away and get checked out and know you are okay.

@Megan but also the further along you get, the tests can't read that high of an hcg level

🤰

@Kristina True! The hook effect is a real thing. I'm most likely totally wrong. If it's a copper IUD, ectopic pregnancy is rare.. but I would still go get checked right away.

Hey guys! Just wanted to update y’all that they were evaporated lines. Just took a few more tests and all came out clean negative 😭✨
