I’m a pill girl and my experience before and after baby was thankfully the same
Not after baby but years before BC triggered major issues including stroke like migraines that put me on disability 😬
I took continuous birth control for years before having a kid. I took the progestin only pill after giving birth so as not to cause supply issues while breastfeeding. I started getting a fair amount of breakthrough bleeding on that and it was super annoying so I stopped taking it. Could have just been the different type of pill though. Currently pregnant so not on birth control obviously, and I’ll be having my tubes removed.
I got the IUD after I had my son and about 7 months of being fine I ended up being one of the .01% of women that got pregnant on it🫠
You could have a different reaction at any point. Your hormones will be in a place they’ve never been in and will be adjusting for months after birth, so that’s something to consider.
@Monét already bullying my GYN to give me extra monitoring the first year PP
I was 3 months pp when I had one put in but it fell out ☹️ so back on the implant
I gave birth to my second baby a week ago. I’ve only ever had the IUD (Mirena) also. I’ll be getting back on it at my 6 weeks appointment. I got back on it with my first and I don’t think/recall I had any issues being back on it.
