Formula Feeding

Hi ! My baby girl is 4 month old and she’s eating 6-7 oz every 4 hours. She down for the night at about 8-9 depending on the naps during the day. She sleeps through the night and wakes up at 8-9 in the morning My nurse told me she needed to eat more… and to try and fit another bottle. I tried giving it to her every 3 hours she doesn’t want it she’s not hungry… I’m forcing the 7oz ! She’s super healthy! She gaining weight, she’s awake, she plays, she smiles, she talks everything Should I be worried ?

My baby turns 4 months on Friday she only drinks 5 oz bottles occasionally a 6oz if she's super hungry. She sleeps from 10pm to around 7am as long as the weight gain is good and baby is happy I honestly wouldn't be concerned x

Baby looks happy and healthy. Don't force food. It'll create an unhealthy relationship with food later in life. Is there a reason they would suggest more food?

How do they sleep that long with out giving them a feed throughout the night

@Amanda she had a hard time eating up to 2 months So she’s a bit more smaller than the norm and I think they want her to reach the weight like every other baby

@Porcha Grigsby I can’t say she’s been doing her nights since she’s 2 weeks old 🤷‍♀️ had to wake her up during the night

@Maude Babies can be on the smaller side. Mine is the 9th percentile for weight. As long as baby is growing on their own growth curve baby is fine. No need to "catch up" to other babies.
