Sweetener HELP!!

Which sweeteners are safe for gestational diabetes? There are so many out there but not sure which ones are safe and doesn’t have any side effects to the mother and baby? Please let me know in the comments as I can’t drink my tea without sugar. Thanks

Cinnamon? 🥺 Honey and maple syrup are better than sugar but... Probably can get away with a teaspoon or less.... Try and check your sugar?

I wouldn’t be able to tolerate honey or maple syrup. They are very high sugar. Try xylitol or erythritol

I've had silverspoon sweetener and canderel with my breakfast and after lunch before and when I've taken my readings after an hour they've always been fine (for me!). I can't have coffee without sugar and I missed it too much to stop drinking it completely. I just have decaf aswell obviously and only have 1 or 2 cups a day max. Its a case of trial and error of what works for you, everyone's tolerance will be different. I'd just try one and see how you get on.
