We’ve bought a plush rocking chair that’s a unicorn, a tea set (small spoons removed) and some pop up books. She’s not that big on toys at the moment so didn’t see much point getting loads. Also with birthday just around the corner I wanted to save some ideas for that…😅
We have a soon to be 4 yr old so it was difficult finding something that my eldest never had! We've bought him a crawl through play tunnel and I will get his brothers little tikes seasaw out for him on Christmas morning. Santa stocking for both boys is things that they need along with a festive book and an orange 😂 For his birthday he's getting a scuttlebug and a soft play / gym set that both boys can use.
I got my 10mo old girl a balance bike and a helmet, then some cube blocks for stacking, a set of 4 toy cars, a stacking ring set and a spinning cog stacking ring set. Definitely minimalistic from us but I know she’s getting loads off the rest of the family plus it’s her birthday in Feb and I don’t want my house absolutely over ran by baby toys 🤣
@Jessica Same here, and that’s exactly my logic too i.e. family’s presents and first birthday in February. We’ve got a toy box, clothes (clothes are a bonus as we need the bigger size anyway 🙌) a play tunnel and some other little bits, first Christmas bauble etc 🙂
I think we’ve gone in between. She has one main present a baby walker that is also a pram and highchair for a doll, brought doll for it, both came with little accessories that i will wrap up individually in her stocking, then 4 smaller pressies and more stocking fillers (baby mug, ambulance and police car, bells with her initials, bibs for nursery 🤣, soft baby photo album etc)
