my fiancés mom went & bought a different play kitchen rather than the one on Christmas list…should I be annoyed or no? I picked that one specially because it was wooden, small for our space, and had some basic lights on the oven…

I'd just be grateful tbh. Maybe it won't be bad. I heard plastic lasts longer and it easier to clean. My friend had a wooden one and it ended up molding and breaking after barely a year.

I would have your fiance ask her to see if it will fit in your space. My in-laws and parents are always getting my kids huge toys and we don’t have space so we have to get rid of things and trade them in and out. I’ve been trying to just be grateful but it can be annoying.

Id be annoyed for sure because if you sent a specific link for an item over, then that specific item should be purchased. Or discussed if they found another one. I like @Dana 🦅♥️🤍💙 ‘s idea about having your fiancé talk to his parents about the item and its size.

lol this was me and my mil specifically about the play kitchen but she did end up getting the one on my list. Because I told my husband if she gets a cheap plastic one I’m not putting it up. 🤣
