Toilet training

My 2.5 year old had a good few weeks back in July where she used the toilet and told us when she needed to go. The nursery didn’t seem to encourage her as much, I’d send her in pull ups and she’d come home in normal nappies so sort of took a few steps back. I then found out I was pregnant again so this ended up at the bottom of my priority list at the time. Baby no2 is due in March and this week is the only week I have off to spend training her again. I have bought loads of knickers from primark as I’m thinking to ditch the nappy/pull up as she still goes if they’re on her. Any tips for me?

Naked method! Start with nothing on bottom then add one layer at a time

Definitely agree with trying to just ditch them but don't do undies at all initially - ideally naked from the waist down for a few days

We’re doing it for the second time. Stopped in October due to anxiety and little brother arriving! More relaxed this time, yes it’s a busy time of year but my husband home for 2 weeks and there’s no nursery. Day 2 and I’m amazed! We’ve not had to fight him to use the potty or toilet, he’s had poos too! This time round we are using a reward of a smartie, he’s a clever boy and stickers don’t appeal to him! 😅 I feel more confident this time, he seems to have matured so much since we tried before. Hopefully will continue to do well!
