Haircut
My oldest daughter who is 3 almost 4 went to have a sleep over at my mums with my brother her uncle last night.
They had the audacity to cut my girls hair without asking me. It was her first hair cut as well. My partner and I didn’t want to cut it yet as we lost a baby last year and had to cut her hair for keep sakes.
I’m fuming at them. They could of asked me over the phone but they didn’t. They said they thought she had already had a hair cut. I don’t even have a bit of her baby locks.
I don’t even want to spend Christmas with them now after they did that.

I will still give little comments to my mum and brother for doing what they did but they understand how wrong it was. Christmas Day wasn’t to bad in the end. It was and wasn’t a lot of hair if you get what I mean? Funny thing they did dig it out of the hoover and cleaned it all up. At least I’ve got keep sakes and will let my daughter know when she is much older what happened. No need to say sorry but thank you very much. My babies name was called Hope. Thank you.

I understand how you feel. They should have asked your permission for that. I would understand if it's summer time and hair is too long and that they would have good intentions of helping child to be less hot during the summer. But there is no need to cut hair in December when the cold requires us to wear hats, sometimes that extra hair can be great to keep the head and ears warm. Did they cut a lot of her hair? How long is it now? How did you manage with them for Christmas? Hope you got the proper apology. I am very sorry for your loss you have mentioned as well. That's very traumatic experience.
