Formula

While I'm trying to breast feed I know my milk supply may take a bit to come in, does anyone who had a baby before have a recommended brand? I was considering Kirkland but I'm still on the fence.

I loved Kendamil Organic

Please remember that your baby does not need a lot of food. Your body will produce what they need đź’— their stomachs are so small and breastmilk is very calorie dense compared to formula. So even if you are only putting out a ounce, as long as your baby is meeting their growth curve and a good wet diaper output it is enough! We did always have a can of Kendamil in the house just incase đź’— but really, trust your body to do its thing.

I only say this because all the over producing women on social media always made me feel like shit for the first few months with my son thinking I wasn't doing it right and needed milk boosts and ect to make more. When in reality I was doing enough.

Yes to what Faith said! And also, feed baby on demand as much as you can because the more you latch baby and they nurse, the more they signal your body to produce milk and it can help it to come in faster.

When did you give birth? They don’t need a lot of colostrum the first few days and your milk supply should come in by 2nd or 3rd day …. And will produce as much as your baby needs. It’s good to have formula on hand just in case, but I wouldn’t use it unless absolutely necessary, because it can cause your baby to stop breast feeding

I would reach out to the nearest breast milk bank. Unless you prefer formula.
