Feel awful

So for Christmas I bought all of our little girls presents. My partner didn’t get a single one, I feel awful that he’s bought her nothing. He said he can’t afford, which I believe, but I still think something small would have been nice? It doesn’t cost much for a gift? He also didn’t get me a present for my birthday and Christmas 🥴 I just feel really shit 🙃 and needed to rant

Christmas is a tough time if you don't have much money. Is he doing his best to provide for your LO? Is he a loving and caring dad and partner? Because if so, then surely you've got all the gifts you need

I buy all gifts for kids andme and Hubby 😁 he doesn't have time to think about it 🤷‍♀️😁

I'm sure if you ask your parents z your dad probably never had anything to do with buying your presents growing up, it is one of those things that seems to be a mum job ... That being said, it's understandable that you're feeling a little down about it. Especially him not getting you anything. This year I bought myself something, by husband had nothing, I didn't buy anything for my 6 month old and my 3 year old had 3 things plus a yoto machine.... Christmas isn't all about getting presents. It's about being together, and making memories. You'll have plenty of Christmas's to come!

It doesn't have to be expensive for a baby! My fiance bought our daughter some bits from a charity shop, spent less than a tenner! He's been lazy and thoughtless
