Have you ever spotted before and after a period
So for the past 2 cycles I've spotted before and after my period. The spotting before usually lasts a few days and tends to come and go. Then after it will last a few days again and then just stop and be done until my next cycle. Granted my cycles hardly come like clockwork or lately in a pattern that I can be like it should be starting at such and such date.
I was diagnosed with PCOS in March of 2022.
Also wondering if like the OB's suggested I take a pregnancy test. Has anyone ever been pregnant with this happening and it not just being because of your PCOS?

@Paige I didn't have it until after i had my son a year ago now. I used to go months on end without a period then have to get it induced. The last birth control I was on for 4 months was the Mirena IUD. Then after 4 months of having it since it was causing other issues for me, I got it removed. I'm not on any birth control now.
Oh I also forget to mention the clots as well. I mentioned those to my OB.

I didn’t have any spotting issues until I started my new birth control. It’s a progesterone only BC since I get migraine with aura and regular estrogen BC can increase my risk of stroke. Prior to this birth control I didn’t get any spotting but I had to induce periods with meds each month or I wouldn’t get a period. I think everyone really differs as far as how their cycle reacts to PCOS
