I am currently 7 weeks pp, me & my partner had sex this past Saturday , he did finish In me. However I took a contraceptive pill the next day . Should I be okay ?

Contraceptive pill or morning after pill? There's a big difference, contraceptive u need to take everyday consistently for it to be affective, if u just 1 randomly then there is 100% chance of pregnancy x

There’s only about a 60% chance of pregnancy without protection, not 100% 😅

@Willow I meant the morning after pill lol sorry about the confusion

Yh if uve take the morning after pill and taken it when ur suppose to and followed instructions properly there's no reason that u wouldn't be covered x

@Gabe 100% chance she's not covered and could result in pregnancy, 60% chance she gets pregnant 😅

Plan b only works if you have not already ovulated.

@Bella didn't no that feel like that's something they should really advertise, loudly😂

You get a very short window (which may have already passed) to have an emergency copper coil fitted if you think the morning after pill may not have worked eg you have already ovulated. Phone your local sexual health service in the UK to discuss with a professional

@Bella that’s the thing , I’m not sure if I have ovulated or not

You’re probably going to be fine, but morning after pill is not a consistent reliable form of contraception. Consider another more reliable form if you don’t want pregnancy to occur!

That’s hard. You are probably ok I’ve taken plan b a few times and it always worked, except for this time around lol (14+4 weeks pregnant) here 😅. I took it the day after I was intimate with my husband and my ovulation window was done but I’ve must’ve ovulated late and got pregnant regardless. That’s how I learned and it doesn’t always work. Just test in 2 weeks hope for the best and take it from there.

Even though you took the pill, you could’ve conceived that night. I’ve gotten pregnant even with the pill before. I’d wait and take a test just in case
