Bubble bath

When did you have a bubble bath after having an episiotomy? My stitches have now dissolved and my bleeding has tapered off to only needing a panty liner, I'm 2 weeks pp. Im absolutely desperate for a nice bubble bath and wondered if it's now safe to do so?

I'm 10 days pp with episiotomy. I think using products should be 4 weeks according to Google, or with medical approval. Have you had a plain bath yet?? I've only had showers but I'm desperate for a bath to give some comfort!

I had a tear and stitches, I started using bubble bath about 3 weeks pp when I stopped bleeding and not in pain anymore. Similar the first time where I had episiotomy. Only use a little bit and not loads

I did after two weeks after my midwife said I was fine to do so, no issues from my side and healing very well, i’m now 4 weeks pp. the midwife expert salts are really good too btw 👌

@Chloe I've been having a plain bath since day 1 with episiotomy and 4th degree tear, has helped with the pain :)

@Chloe I gave in, had a shallow bubble bath but used baby bubble bath as its sensitive! Not quite the luxury bubble bath but definitely better than nothing! X
