Colic

I think my 9 day old is suffering with colic, he gets quite upset in the evening and we do struggle getting wind up. I’ve started using colief drops so hoping these start to help and used Infacol but hasn’t made a huge difference. Currently using cow and gate and Tommee tippee bottles, is there any bottles/formula that have worked better for your baby with wind? Thinking of needing to change something.

With my first baby I switched from Tommy tippee as my daughter was getting wind to Dr Browns, never had any issues, now using them for my son x

Dr Browns or Mam anti colic. Tommee tippee are notoriously bad for wind xx

Are you sure he isn't just hungry? Our boy tends to drink a lot lot more during the evening. He cries and he is in distress and I thought he might have colic but he's just crying for milk😁 midwife told us they tend to want more milk in the evenings/nights as the hormones producing milk also release at night. Mine is 18 days now and last night I spent nearly 4 hours and gave him two and half bottles, yet during the day he doesn't even drink a full one per feed. He spills some of it and it has to be given slowly but he drinks it all and only goes to sleep when he's tired and finally full. Also does a huge crap in the meantime suggesting that he already dealt with most of milk🤣

Dr Browns bottles really helped my little boy, also comfort milk xx

We used Dentinox with our first little girl as we didn't really see a difference with infacol, but we're currently going through the same with our 11 day old, she sleeps perfect in the day but then come night time she screams the whole house down all night and won't sleep much longer than 20/30 minutes. Her screams make me feel she's uncomfortable but I've fed, changed and burped her so I'm just so confused 🫣

There’s also the witching hours of an evening where newborns cry a lot more. Google purple crying xx
