Milk

Hey guys my little one is about to turn 1 but adjusted he would only be 10.5 months. I’ve been formula feeding and not sure when to switch to milk. Should I wait til his adjusted age is 1 or when he turns 1. He’s doing really well and his growth is on the lower side of term babies. So he’s definitely caught up.

I’m in the UK. Baby is the same in terms of arriving 6 weeks early. We were told to start with cows milk with her actual age, not adjusted. It caused some constipation and reflux. I’m slowly transitioning her to cow’s milk, and finishing off her last 2/3 tubs of formula. She will be 14 months actual next week. I’ve been swapping one bottle a day, per week of formula to cows milk.

Our NICU consultant said for anything diet-related to use real age (not adjusted) x

My eldest was born 11 weeks early, we went by adjusted age so her due date is when we introduced cows milk. The pediatrician agreed with us to do it like that.

I used adjusted age for full fat milk. I started adding FF to his formula around 1 month before so it wasn't a straight switch

My little boy is 11 months actual and we have been told to start at 1 year actual so will start to make a slow switch from formula to cows milk in a couple of weeks
