I've had nexaplanon before, and as soon as this baby is pushed out, I'm going to have it inserted again. I tried birth control pills, but it's just a pain for me to keep remembering to take on a daily basis. This way, I can have it in my arm and not worry about a routine
Getting an IUD sucked in the beginning but was the best decision I’ve made after pregnancy
same as Chloe I track my cycles. it’s been successful for 2 years. I had the nexplanon years ago before my daughter, i’d never do it again
@Chloe yeah I was thinking that but knowing my luck I’ll end up pregnant again😅yeah I guess it can be okay but I just feel like when we get too into it and then remember we have to stop for a condom and I just cba with it😂
@Kristina yeah, it really is the best contraception in the fact that you don’t have to think of anything etc, but the side effects for me put me off. I gained a lot of weight and had constant headache for other 6 months x
@Izzie think I may do this too, maybe just stick with condoms until my body returns to normal after birth then just keep tracking x
It annoys me but I find I always end up needing to go to the toilet mid sex anyway so gives him time to put something on ahah. I’ve had a few pregnancy scares but I still much prefer tracking to anything hormonal. TBH my sex life is full lately so don’t really have any issues 🤣🤣
I was always on the combined pill. Once my heads in a better place I will be going back on it.
@Chloe that’s good it works so well for you. I to think I’ll just track instead of anything hormonal as I am so done with hormones atm🤣

Tbh I find just tracking periods to be the easiest. Don’t have sex when you are most likely to get pregnant and use protection. I believe the flo app now has an option for your partner to access the app themselves to keep track which i think its handy and saves them having to ask. I tried the implant and it was horrible. Male protection is deffo not a mood killer 😆 we always have a laugh in the bedroom. You can get protection that is ribbed for pleasure which is deffo not a mood killer aha.
