Anti lea antibodies?

So I'm 10 weeks pregnant and have found out I have anti lea antibodies. My widwife had never seen this before, and I can't find much information about this online, and as this is my rainbow baby I am abit worried. Has anyone experienced this? Or is there anyone who can give me any more information about it. Will talk to my GP one they get back to me.

Anti d?

It's an antigen in your blood, that usually depleats during pregnancy. I've not come across this alot, it's part of the Lewis blood system, I don't think it's a cause of concern for your pregnancy, unless you have Anti-D, Anti-K or Anti-c issues as a factor? Did they dicuss any plan with you going forward? 🤔

@Dani no as my midwife knows nothing about this she's contacted the hospital but they havent got back to me yet only been a day though there not lot on Google either apart from maybe having to deliver early or if it rises a blood transfusion but there's no actual information so I appreciate your help.

@Sarah Woodbridge no its called anti lea ill attach a copy of my paper work x

Aaah apologies I wasn’t sure if it was a typo

@Sarah Woodbridge that's okay x

So as far as I know, they generally note this only, but won't act as it were, if there are other factors it can be an issue, But having antigen depleation like this shouldn't effect your pregnancy at all! They may closely monitor certain areas, but truly, I don't see it being a major issue, honestly.. They may keep an eye on "hemolysis". they may do regular checks potentially on the cerebal artery (worse case) and closer fetal monitoring.. I think there's only a risk of delivering early or transfusions with the absolute worse case situation.. 🙏🏻🫶🏻

@Dani thank you for that 😊
