Potty training

I used to work with toddlers. Some are ready later, it's perfectly normal, especially for boys.

My son is 31 months & isn’t potty trained. I believe he understands it but just isn’t quite ready to go on his own. We are slowly teaching him.

I had always read that they show signs when they’re ready. I recently read Oh Crap! Potty Training and it said in there about 20-30 months being the best time to potty training and that you don’t wait for signs that they’re ready. I started potty training my 28 month old yesterday so we’ll see how we get on this week. 🤞🏼

My little boy didn't show any signs so eventually we had to go for it. I'd suggest at 27 months you've got time to wait to see if he shows an interest.

Some just don’t show signs but are ready! My little boy was 25 months and I gave it a go on a whim, he got it within a couple weeks! Try it they might surprise you x
