We started in summer too, feel so bad going back and forth with him, it’s sad because he’s so keen to get on the toilet just not the foggiest when he’s on it. Good luck to you x
My son is exactly the same! Been potty training a few months, he’s happy to use the toilet and will wee in the toilet but the only issue is he will not tell me when he needs to go. Have taken a break in between but again no difference when starting again. He starts nursery next week so I’ve decided to let him settle into nursery before we start again. Advice given to me by a relative. No advice here but I know how you feel
@Hufsa good luck ❤️🤞
Advice I was given when helping to toilet train an older child who was nonverbal was to give her a little paper windmill to blow whilst she sat on the toilet. Apparently the motion of blowing helps them to do a wee. It really worked for her and then she associated being on the toilet with doing a wee.

@Tori Absolutely...blowing bubbles has the same effect as well!
@Lindsey we found they then jumped off the toilet to pop the bubbles 😂
@Tori Oh no! Good point!
Mine does the same thing. He can hold it for hours on end and then ends up really stressed because he gets uncomfortable and then gets harder to release it. I’ve been trying on an off since the start of summer and was really hoping to crack it over Xmas but I’m at a loss of what to do now.
