Definitely get a sample dropped off for them to test it for protein ect I’ve also got high blood pressure and I wouldn’t of left untill it was all checked x
They wasn’t going to listen to my baby’s heartbeat they say it’s not recommended to do it at 16 weeks but the nice guidelines say that if mums to be ask then their to do it , I asked and she was hesitant to do it so I said about the nice guidelines so she did and and we got to hear his heart x
I only had my booking app so far and I’m 16 weeks- is it possible that with it being my second pregnancy they don’t see me as often? I remember going for scans and having heartbeat listened to etc first time round x
@Megan I’m on my 3rd pregnancy and because of the Xmas period I ended up having my 16 weeks check up with midwife at 17+6 the appointment is for everyone regardless how many babies you have had , if you haven’t got a 16 weeks appointment booked in I’d give your midwife a call and ask them why not , as they should be checking your blood pressure and urine, hope you get sorted x
@Megan nhs website breaks everything down on which appointments you need. Defo a 12 week scan and 16 week appointment for all pregnancies though. I think we just miss a few later on like 25 week and maybe one more around 31 weeks
I only ever had the CO test at a booking appointment but urine should defo be tested every time, I’d phone them and just say you’d like to drop a sample off
