TTC after Laparoscopy

Heya I have had 3 laps and had very painful endo and adenomyosis. I was on the coil after each lap and had my coil removed took around 10 months but I have just fallen pregnant. I think be patient with yourself and your body and you’ll be fine. I am no going to lie having periods again was hard but worth it to be pregnant now :) best of luck

I got pregnant my very first full cycle after my lap after more than 2 years of trying! I had an endometrioma and a few other mild spots of endo. I don't have adeno. Good luck!

I had a laparoscopy in Dec 2023 to excise stage 3 endo and an endometrioma on one of my ovaries. Adenomyosis was also diagnosed and I had/have a small intramural fibroid which they left. I took dienogest for a month before the lap and 5 months after which stopped my periods. After finishing the dienogest I managed to conceive in the first cycle after my first proper period (I had a light bleed immediately after finishing the dienogest and then proper period a few weeks later so maybe I actually conceived in my 2nd cycle.) I wasn’t trying to conceive before my lap so can’t say if it would have been a struggle before or not but things that I think helped after was I started taking pre-conception supplements in the months before (basically soon after my lap) and my husband also took supplements and exercised regularly etc. my surgeon also checked my fallopian tubes were clear as otherwise he’d have recommend going straight to IVF
