It happens to me too. Gravity pulls it out but I think it's just the nature of the substance that makes it blobby
i agree with anna. it’s pretty natural. i’m sure a little or some are able to swim up but most of it don’t. even the day we did it and conceived my first born, that happened. we still conceived so it doesn’t mean that none were able to swim to your cervix. also after removing the cup, i still get that “glob” inside of the cup that didn’t swim up. but the cup helps them to get closer to the cervix, kinda like a head start.
yes, try using a menstrual cup. insert right as he pulls out to keep sperm close to the cervix. lay down for at least 15-20 minutes and leave it in till the next morning.
