Bottles

My just turned 1 year old loves love loves his milk still and I’m trying to figure out which bottles would be best to use now he’s got his teeth coming through. Obvs I can’t use teats but that’s the only option atm so need to know some good bottles to use for bedtime milk please.

Yes I do have one of them actually but didn’t think it would be ok as it’s still sort of a teat. What do you think? X

I think unless you go for a straw, itll be the best option! The Tommee Tippee straw cups with handles are totally leak free xx

@India that could be used for water then the tommee tippee ones? And this mam one for milk should be ok?

Absolutely! We have 2 straw ones with different coloured lids for water and milk (started slowly introducing milk in a cup) but that MAM one should be fine over night xx

@India thank you! How long do you think I could do this next bottle for? Hopefully as he gets older he can understand how to use a cup or beaker but just don’t want his teeth growing funny

Just start slowly watering down cows milk in the cup, and aim to be giving him just water by a slightly older age. So long as he gets enough calories during the day a slow wean off the bottle at night will be fine xx

Straw Cup or 360 cup

Tommee Tippee do ones with straws in instead

My nephew is 18 months has about 16 teeth and still uses mam bottle for his night milk x

@Heather for bedtime milk too?

@Emily with a normal teat?

Especially for bedtime milk.

And how long would you say it takes for a baby to adapt to a different teat? How do I do the change over?
