Explosive poos!

All my babies poos sound so explosive like you can hear her tummy and then the loudest trump and poo, is this normal? Also we just changed her and as her nappy was off and legs in air she pood so far off the bed it was like a shot and we have poo everywhere. Again a massive explosion. Wondering if this is normal or if something is wrong.

Our LO did this earlier! Fortunately she didn’t get any soft surfaces. Reckon she squirted almost a metre. Won’t lie I laughed hard, daddy who was changing her didn’t find it as funny 😂. Colour was same as norm (BF) so haven’t worried about it

@Yolande thank you! Is your babies poo quite runny & yellowy? Ours is and she is BF too. I just gave her a feed and she’s been really sicky and I’m over thinking everything although she may have just had too much too quick. I thought BF babies weren’t supposed to be sicky! Just panicking at everything.

Yes! We refer to them as sharts in our house 🤣. My little girl shot poo all over me, 10 minutes after the first time I managed to get showered, dressed and felt semi normal after birth. She still fills her nappy with lots of loud farting and explosive poos. She’s three weeks now.

Yes runny & yellowy! HV seemed happy with it. Yes we have had the same (sick / reflux) Mostly with the nighttime frenzie when I think she just inhales too much air and drinks more than she can handle - midwife & HV seemed to think this was normal. Trying to hold her more upright and burp her more but sometimes not much seems to work

It’s quite normal for them to have a lot of mucus/runny poos at this age as they still have a lot in their system/are getting used to milk etc xx
