Rhesus negative second pregnancy

Hi all Has anyone been through a second pregnancy being rhesus negative? My first baby is rhesus positive and am pregnant again (early days hence being anonymous) and wondered what will happen this time. I’ve been on google and started worrying already. Thank you

They check the placenta once baby is born and will give an anti d if needed. My first pregnancy 7 years ago I got an anti d injection at about 28weeks ish I think but they don't give it now unless needed

Congratulations 🥰 I’m negative and both my children were positive. They gave me the anti D at 28 weeks (as they checked the babies blood and they were both positive) and then after birth too. I was told that there was nothing to worry about unless I had a fall or a knock to my bump, if that happened they’d of given me another anti D to be safe. I’d honestly say nothing to worry about. I had an Aug 23 baby and a Sept 24 baby too so super close together! I’d honestly say nothing to worry about! X

I agree with the above, nothing to worry about so don't drive yourself mad googling - both my babies were positive so I had the anti D at 28 weeks and then again after the birth, I had no issues at all x

I've just found out that my second baby is rhesus positive (first baby is too) and I'm rhesus negative! Did some googling and scared myself so am happy to read that all was ok in your experiences. 🤞
