We did courthouse first just so we could be married when we moved in together then did a big wedding 3 months later. Still honeymooned and traveled a lot after.
Big wedding. 220 guests. I was 19 lol. Still happily married to him and 3 kids later.
Do what’s you feel is best . We went to court house but I still got a nice wedding dress from SHEIN . Very affordable so I was able to get some nice pictures . I do eventually want to have a ceremony to include our families and daughters.
We eloped and got married in the Lake District. Five of us there in total and it was perfect, absolutely no regrets!
Originally wanted to elope completely by ourselves but I started to want family involved (partner wasn’t enthusiastic about this). Ended up having a relatively small wedding with about 35 people and did not regret it one bit! Even my husband says he is glad we spent to money on a bigger wedding. We went to Tenerife for a week after and it was fantastic
I'm a covid bride, we were supposed to get married in Cyprus but it was cancelled a week before. Got married in UK. 30 people only. No photographer. And no party. Despite everything it was the most special day. Honeymoon in one bed cottage with hot tub. Was amazing. If you're close to your family and friends please include them. My grandma couldn't attend Cyprus but she got to see me married in the UK. She's 99 this year and it meant the world to her. Xx
