IVF Facility recommendations- Manchester
Please can someone recommend a good IVF clinic in Manchester(preferable)or surroundings, we are looking to start our IVF journey after stage 4 endometriosis laparoscopy. And can those who have gone through it briefly explain the stages/process involved and how long it takes? Quite nervous about it. I was told my tubes are shaped like the letter S with a globular uterus, and i don't know what that means for our journey.Thank you
Heyy I'd recommend the Hewitt centre at Liverpool women's personally, so our journey was quite drawn out because of how my endo is (I bleed 3 out of 4 weeks a month). It took 7 months from referral to 1st appointment, then had bloods & scans, then was told that it was going to be too close to Christmas to freeze my eggs so I went into long down regulation with zoladex & buserlin so they could manipulate my cycle. Started stims Jan 2024, EC end of Jan 2024 and had freeze all due to OHSS, 1st FET in April 2024 which sadly failed and 2nd FET July 2024 which was successful. I did down regulation/suppression prior to both transfers and my tubes are blocked with endo. I had my EC & Tranfers with Liverpool women's but was managed by fertility fusion. Because of the NHS waiting lists that's why I ended up at fertility fusion but if I was to go again I'd do it all at Liverpool women's xx
